Organising a company party depends entirely on the venue, catering, programme and logistics. At Blue Lagoon, all of that has been under one roof for over 40 years. No separate caterer, no loose suppliers, but a single point of contact from the quote until after the party.

From beach BBQ to walking dinner

Everything comes from our own kitchen, from the welcome snacks to the dessert. For most company parties, the BBQ is the core. A live chef, fresh fish from the port of Scheveningen, meat, salads and full vegetarian options.

Prefer to sit at a table? Then choose a walking dinner with live cooking or a group menu based on a shared dining concept. The cocktail bar serves classics and in-house creations, and the kitchen keeps going until 22:30.

We also cater to dietary requirements such as vegan, gluten-free and halal. Please let us know at least a week in advance.

For every staff party and every group size

From Christmas drinks and end-of-year celebrations to sales kick-offs, anniversaries or client events, the offering scales with your business.

For dinner, you can reserve a group table in the restaurant for 12 people or more. We organise a BBQ or walking dinner for groups of 15 and above. For large end-of-year parties of around 100 colleagues or more, we discuss exclusive use of the pavilion.

Combine daytime meetings with an evening party

For organisations from The Hague, this is a golden combination. Hold your meetings in peace on the beach during the day, fire up the BBQ at around 17:00 and party until midnight.

The meeting package is available from as little as €26.50 per person and you will receive one quote for the entire day.

This is how your company party goes

You will arrive around 17:00 with a welcome drink on the terrace or in the function room. A speech by the management? The sound system and microphones are provided as standard.

From 18:30 the grill will be fired up for the BBQ or the walking dinner will start. After that, the bar will stay open until 00:00. If the group wants to carry on longer, we can discuss an afterparty at partners on the boulevard or a hotel within walking distance.

Easy to reach from The Hague

Colleagues will be on site within half an hour. From The Hague Central Station you can get there in 25 minutes by tram 1 or 9 (Kurhaus stop), or by car in about 15 minutes. Kurhaus car park and Nieuwe Parklaan car park together offer over 1,500 spaces within walking distance.

For colleagues coming from further away, the Kurhaus, Carlton Beach and NH Atlantic hotels are just around the corner.

Please state the desired date, the number of colleagues, the type of event and your catering requirements. You will usually receive a tailored quote within one working day.

Faq

What does a company party cost at Blue Lagoon?

Expect to pay £70 to £120 per person for a complete evening, depending on the catering, drinks and programme. You will always receive a bespoke quote.

From how many people can I book?

Sit-down dinners from 12 people, BBQs and walking dinners from 15 people. We have hosted groups ranging from a few dozen to hundreds of colleagues.

Until what time can we continue?

The bar is open until midnight. For groups wishing to extend their stay, we can discuss options with our partners along the promenade.

Is exclusive use of the pavilion possible?

Yes, for large events or companies that want to control the entire atmosphere. For exclusive use, we can also open earlier than our regular opening hours. Please discuss this explicitly in your quote so we can align the calendar accordingly.

Do you have AV for speeches and presentations?

Yes, sound system and microphones. For more extensive AV (presentations, live streams, lighting shows), we can discuss possibilities or hire technical partners on request.

Can we use our corporate identity at the party?

Limited: role banners, branded napkins, and a personalised cocktail menu are possible. A complete restyling of the pavilion is not; Blue Lagoon has its own atmosphere and look that we will not mask. Discuss the possibilities with your quote.

Can I combine daytime meetings with an evening company party?

Yes, that's a common combination. Meeting package from €26.50 per person, with a BBQ or walking dinner afterwards. One quote for the whole day. See Meeting on the beach.

Do you take dietary requirements into account?

Yes: vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, halal and pregnant guests. By giving at least one week before the event.

Hoeveel van tevoren moet ik boeken voor een kerstborrel?

For December (Christmas parties, end-of-year celebrations) at least 8 to 12 weeks in advance. December is our peak season.

How far from The Hague CS?

Approximately 25 minutes by tram 1 or 9 (Kurhaus stop). By car, approximately 15 minutes from The Hague city centre.
